About Us
The restored Dixie Center for the Arts will be used for the following:
- Performing Arts hall with 600 seats, for live performances of dance, theatre, and music of all kinds, including family entertainment
- Movie theatre with modern projection equipment, for showing classic films, and other movies that don't run in other theaters
- Community Arts School, for after school lessons in music, dance, painting, drama, etc.
- Community center with meeting rooms for organizations or conferences
- Home and offices for Ruston Community Theatre, North Central Louisiana Arts Council, and the Ruston Civic Symphony Society
- Art gallery for sales of art by local artists, and exhibits of all kinds of art
- Available for rent by organizations, business, or individuals on a first-come-first-served basis

A tax-deductible donation of $100 per brick will place your engraved brick at the Dixie Center for the Arts in what will become Intermission Park. You have 3 lines with 14 spaces available per line on each brick. Spaces between words count as one space.
Download the donation form and print it out (requires Adobe Reader). Complete the form and mail it along with your check (no cash please) and instructions to: Dixie Center for the Arts; 212 North Vienna Street; Ruston, LA 71270, or bring to our offices between 10 am and 3 pm.
