Performed by the Wood and Strings Puppet Theatre of Nashville. Tale for all ages of love, magic, adventure and travel. First Dixie school show of the season. Teachers need to reserve their space early. $3/each. There will also be a teacher workshop that afternoon from 4-6. Space is limited. Cost is $30/teacher. Sponsored by Ruston Kiwanis Club.

Jeff Robinson of Rustiques and Marlen Waters, Exec. Director Dixie Center for the Arts, look over the 1st Annual Dixie Christmas Gift, a set of 4 handmade brick coasters. The brick coasters are made from slices of antique bricks that are over 100 years old stamped with the Dixie Star logo. Each set of 4 is backed in cork and tied up with leather strips donated by Hart Associates. All are handmade, rustic, and very unique. Sets are $20 each. This is a fund-raiser for the Dixie. |




Movie and a Tea with American Girl Dolls
Calling all young ladies and their American Girl Dolls: Quota International of Ruston is sponsoring "Timeless Traditions", an opportunity for moms, daughters and dolls to come see the "Molly" movie at the Dixie Center for the Arts at 11:00am and enjoy a tea at the Lincoln Parish Museum at either 10am or 12pm on February 27.
