Dixie Performing Arts Camp
Public Performance
The public is invited to the final performance of the Dixie Performing Arts Camp this Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the Dixie. Over thirty campers, grades 1-5, have spent the last two weeks learning theatre, dance, music and stage design from theatre professionals. Admission is free to the performance and the public is invited to come and appreciate the hard work of these campers and their teachers. There will be a second performance at the Louisiana Peach Festival Sunday at 2:30 in Railroad Park during Family Day. The campers are also scheduled to ride in the Peach Festival Parade on a float of their design on Saturday, June 28. The trailer is being furnished by Azure Pools of Ruston.
